One of the cleverest uses of technology Ive seen recently, and in fact what inspired me to start this blog, is the CCTV to mobile phone solution from Qeeps.
Ive seen this solution in real life and can't believe that such amazing quality is possible from a standard mobile phone.
You are able to see the live view from any of the cameras on your DVR over GPRS. Ive seen similar solutions before and dismissed them due to the poor quality but the Qeeps solution works really well.
I reckon I was getting a good 5 frames / second of clear video footage, and was even able to move PTZ cameras around by using the keypad.
Im getting the system installed at home and will review some of the features as I explore them.
